Alignment to Create Ultimate Hockey Experiences at LEGACY Camps, Tournament and Showcases
EXETER, N.H. – June 16, 2016 – Bauer Hockey, the world’s leading manufacturer of hockey equipment, and LEGACY Global Sports, a leader in youth sports events and tournaments, announced today an expanded partnership that will provide an unmatched hockey experience for young athletes at camps and tournaments around the world.

Throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, LEGACY Global Sports hosts each year more than 1 million young athletes and their families at more than 350 elite events, tournaments and showcases. Bauer Hockey will partner with LEGACY on a new series of tournaments, including the BAUER Motown Classic, a landmark hockey event in Detroit.
The BAUER Motown Classic takes place October 21-23 and includes more than 340 teams and more than 6,000 of the top young players from the U.S. and Canada with birth years from U18-07. As with other LEGACY tournaments, the BAUER Motown Classic will feature numerous elite coaches, scouts and agents.

Bauer Hockey and LEGACY will partner to elevate the tournament experience both on and off the ice at more than 40 global youth hockey events over the next two years. These showcases will feature unique BAUER offerings, such as a BAUER Combine, on-site BAUER Personal Fit Experts and on-ice BAUER Experiences that provide a try-before-you-buy opportunity. At select venues, the BAUER Combine will test a player’s strength and fitness while providing educational instruction on form and proper mechanics specifically for hockey.
